As Americans elect a president in 2008, it’s useful to look back at previous elections. Who’s been elected? Who could vote? What issues have voters cared about? How have politics and elections changed through the centuries?
This year Strong National Museum of Play’s 18th annual Advanced Placement United States History conference explores the history of American politics. Top scholars from area colleges and universities will lead dynamic sessions about the continuities and changes in America’s democratic process, from the Early Republic to the 21st century.
Join us for one full day of college-level break out sessions, an award winning keynote speaker, and a chance to meet and discuss this topic with students from other local high schools.
